Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, absolutely! All tools available on our website are completely free to use. There are no hidden charges or subscription fees.
We take your privacy and security very seriously. All processing happens directly in your web browser ("client-side"), meaning your files are never uploaded to our servers. They stay on your computer, ensuring complete privacy. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
Because all processing is done in your browser, the primary limitations are your computer's memory (RAM) and processing power. For very large or numerous files, the process might be slow or could fail if your system runs out of memory. However, there are no artificial limits imposed by us.
No software installation is required. PDFsphere is a fully online tool that works in modern web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. All you need is an internet connection to load the website.
Our Word to PDF converter does its best to maintain the original formatting, including text, lists, and tables. However, complex layouts, special fonts, or intricate headers/footers in the original DOCX file may not be replicated with 100% fidelity. For perfect conversions of complex documents, using a desktop application is recommended.

Troubleshooting
My file won't upload or the page is unresponsive.
This can happen with very large files or if your browser is low on memory. Try closing other browser tabs and applications to free up resources. If the problem persists, try clearing your browser cache or using a different web browser.
The "Process" button is disabled or doesn't work.
Please ensure you have uploaded a valid file type for the selected tool. For example, the "PDF to JPG" tool requires a .pdf file. An error message will usually appear below the upload area if the file type is incorrect.
I see an error message during processing.
This can occur if the PDF is corrupted, password-protected (for tools other than "Protect PDF"), or has a very complex internal structure. Try re-saving the file from your PDF reader and attempting the process again.
